How To Operate Your
Dehumidifier
Before using your
dehumidifier make sure the air inlet and outlet grills are not obstructed
and that the drain tank is positioned correctly.
1- Turn on the dehumidifier by pressing the power button. The power
indicator light should be glowing.
2- Adjust the humidistat control to the desired room relative humidity
level.
The compressor will automatically turn on and will automatically shut off
when the room's RH level becomes lower than its setting and will start to
dehumidify again when the RH level becomes higher than its setting.
3-There is an indicator lamp that shows when the drain tank is full
and needs to
be emptied. To empty the tank, simply slide out the drain tank, and dispose
of the water collected. If this is done before the full light (right)
appears, the process of sliding out the tank automatically shuts off the
dehumidifier. After disposing of the water slide the empty tank back into
its opening. The tank must be flush with the cabinet or the dehumidifier
will not turn on
4- When the dehumidifier begins to frost on the outside the defrost
indicator light will turn on and the defrost will begin.
5-If a suitable water drainage outlet is available, a hose can be
fitted to the condensed water outlet. The drain bucket must remain in
position to activate the bucket full main interlock switch.

Cleaning and Servicing Your Dehumidifier
The Surround Air TWD-21B dehumidifier requires very little maintenance. The
cabinet and all extremely accessible parts need only be cleaned with a damp
cloth and/or a mild cleaner.
Periodically remove the intake air filter by sliding it up from the
retaining slot and wash it in soapy water. The drain tank should be wiped
clean occasionally with a damp cloth. Plus, with a 12 Month Warranty you can
be assured that you are buying a quality product.
